Mid Century Style Bonded Lampshade Kit

These kits are made to order so please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery. They will be put together by Amore Lampshades and includes the same techniques Laura has been using in her own business since 2010. Kits include full instructions with colour photos, PVC sticky lampshade backing cut to size for you and the necessary components to make your own lampshades, just add your own fabric! No experience necessary!
Kit includes:
1 x detailed instructions with colour photos
1 x white fitted ring (with lampshade adapter) *
1 x plain ring
1 x PVC sticky lampshade backing (300micron), white semi-transparent with fire retardant,
- cut to shape and ready to use
1 x double sided tape (full 50m roll)
1 x 125ml glue
1 x roll edge tool
* recess measurement is from the bottom of the lampshade to the screw point on the lamp holder measures 2" (50mm). This measurement determines how high or low the lampshade will sit on the lamp base. 2" (50mm) is the standard recess measurement to cover the electrical lamp holder from view and is used for all my lampshade kits. Other recess measurements can be requested at additional cost - please contact me.
Double sided tape, Glue and Roll edge tool are optional when ordering. It is recommended that if this is your first time buying one of my kits, then please add these items in. When you order another kit in the future (or add subsequent orders to the cart) you may choose to leave these items out. The double sided tape is a full roll of 50 metres, so there is plenty for many of your lampshade projects, the same applies with the glue and the roll edged tool.
PLEASE NOTE: do not use just any double sided tape or glue. The products in my lampshade kits are of good quality and chosen for their specifications. The PVC sticky backing product (UK manufactured) specific for lampshade making, is fire retardant and suitable to bond many fabrics. Fabrics with a natural fibre composition and blends work best (eg. cotton, cotton/polyester, linen, linen/polyester, linen/viscose etc.) but is not limited to.
Delivery is additional and calculated at check out. Delivery is via Australia Post, standard post and express options. International standard post is available.
